What it is

  • PaaS
  • Deployment
  • Git
  • Docker

Coolify is an open-source deployment platform, your own Heroku, Vercel or Netlify alternative. Connect a GitHub or GitLab repository and Coolify builds and runs the app, issues a certificate and redeploys on every new commit.

Besides apps on Node.js, Python, PHP and other stacks, you can deploy databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB) and hundreds of ready-made services in 1 click. Database backups can be sent to S3.

Coolify also manages other servers over SSH, so a single instance serves your whole infrastructure.

  • Git deploys with auto-build on push
  • Automatic Let's Encrypt certificates
  • 1-click databases and hundreds of services
  • Database backups to S3-compatible storage
  • Manage multiple servers over SSH
  • Preview environments for pull requests

Recommended plan

For Coolify: at least 3 vCPU, 5 GB RAM and 45 GB NVMe.

Minimum to run
2 vCPU · 2 GB RAM · 10 GB disk
Systems
Ubuntu 22.04 · Ubuntu 24.04 · Debian 11 · Debian 12 · AlmaLinux 9

How to install

Three steps in the bot or one command over SSH; installation takes about 5 minutes.

  1. 01

Choose a plan in the bot

Open @ExpressHost_bot and pay for a VPS. The server will be ready in about 60 seconds.

  2. 02

    Add Coolify

At the “Add-ons” step pick the script from the library, or run it later: Server settings → Scripts.

  3. 03

    Finish the setup

Immediately open http://server-IP:8000 and create the admin: the first user to register gets root access to the server

Manually over SSH

Connect to the server as root and run the command. Supported systems: Ubuntu 22.04, Ubuntu 24.04, Debian 11, Debian 12, AlmaLinux 9.

Coolify FAQ

Didn’t find an answer? Message @ExpressHost_SupportBot.

Which plan should I choose?

Coolify itself needs 2 cores and 2 GB RAM. Apps and databases run on the same server, so leave headroom: 3 vCPU and 5 GB or more.

How do I update Coolify?

From the UI: Settings → Update, or by re-running the install script.

Where is the data stored?

In /data/coolify: settings, SSH keys, backups and app files.

Coolify installs at checkout — in the bot.
