Why these resources
Minimums come from the apps' official requirements; our estimates are marked.
- 01Scraping and automation1 vCPU · 2 GB · 30 GB
Windows Server 2019 and 2022 require at least 2 GB of memory and 26 GB of disk; the bot won't install them on a smaller server. 30 GB leaves room for updates.
- 02Remote desktop2 vCPU · 4 GB · 50 GB · estimate
A second core and 4 GB keep the desktop from freezing during Windows updates. 50 GB covers updates and programs. Our estimate.
- 03Trading terminal and bots4 vCPU · 6 GB · 80 GB · estimate
Our estimate for several programs open around the clock.
- 04Accounting system with a DB4 vCPU · 8 GB · 100 GB · estimate
Spare memory for the app and the database. Our estimate.
- 05Builds, tests and emulators6 vCPU · 12 GB · 150 GB · estimate
Our estimate for builds and heavy programs.
- 06Data processing and terminals8 vCPU · 16 GB · 200 GB · estimate
Our estimate: 8 cores and 16 GB without a ready-made plan's surplus disk.

How many resources does Windows need?
Windows Server 2019 and 2022 require at least 2 GB of memory and 26 GB of disk; Server 2025 needs at least 37 GB of disk. The “Scraping and automation” plan (1 vCPU, 2 GB RAM, 30 GB NVMe, $3.49 a month) fits 2019 and 2022. For a remote desktop we plan 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM, 50 GB NVMe for $8.35; that's our estimate.
Which Windows versions are available?
Windows Server 2025, 2022 and 2019: pick one at the “Choose OS” step when ordering in the bot. You can switch versions later by reinstalling the OS in the server panel.
How do I connect to a Windows server?
The server console (VNC) opens right from the server panel in the bot. To connect over RDP (port 3389 by default), the port must be open in the firewall, which you configure in the bot.
Can I reinstall the system?
Yes, the OS is reinstalled with one button in the server panel in the bot. Save the files you need before reinstalling.
