Plausible is simple web analytics, an alternative to Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica. The script weighs under 1 KB, uses no cookies and collects no personal data, so you don't need a cookie banner.
Community Edition runs on your own server: visitor data stays with you, and there are no limits on the number of sites or pageviews. Under the hood are PostgreSQL and ClickHouse.
The built-in web server issues a Let's Encrypt certificate on its own, so installation requires a domain pointed at the server.
For Plausible: at least 2 vCPU, 3 GB RAM and 45 GB NVMe.
Three steps in the bot or one command over SSH; installation takes about 4 minutes.
Open @ExpressHost_bot and pay for a VPS. The server will be ready in about 60 seconds.
At the “Add-ons” step pick the script from the library, or run it later: Server settings → Scripts.
Before launching, replace stats.example.com with your domain that has an A record pointing to the server
Connect to the server as root and run the command. Supported systems: Ubuntu 22.04, Ubuntu 24.04, Debian 12.

You need at least 2 GB RAM and a CPU with SSE 4.2 — ClickHouse requires it. Modern Ryzen CPUs are fine.
Change the version in the plausible-ce repository (git fetch and git checkout the new branch), then run docker compose up -d. Read the release notes before a major upgrade.
In the PostgreSQL and ClickHouse Docker volumes created by docker compose in the plausible-ce folder.
Plausible installs at checkout — in the bot.
