What it is

  • MySQL
  • MariaDB
  • Web interface
  • SQL

phpMyAdmin is a web interface for managing MySQL and MariaDB: tables, queries, dump import and export, users and permissions right from your browser.

Handy when you need to quickly look at a bot's or site's data, run an SQL query or upload a dump without the console.

The command runs the official image in a mode where the database server address is entered on the login page.

  • View and edit tables
  • SQL queries with syntax highlighting
  • Dump import and export
  • User and permission management
  • Work with multiple servers

phpMyAdmin FAQ

Didn’t find an answer? Message @ExpressHost_SupportBot.

Is it safe to keep phpMyAdmin publicly accessible?

Bots scan for it constantly. Allow access only from your IP or via an SSH tunnel: ssh -L 8080:127.0.0.1:8080 root@IP.

How do I update it?

docker pull phpmyadmin and re-create the container — it holds no data.

Does it work with PostgreSQL?

No, use pgAdmin for PostgreSQL.

phpMyAdmin installs at checkout — in the bot.
