Odoo is a suite of business apps: CRM, sales, inventory, invoicing, projects, website and online store in one system. Enable modules as you need them.

The Community edition is free and installs on your own server. It suits small businesses that need CRM and accounting together without separate subscriptions.

The command runs the official Odoo 20 and PostgreSQL Docker images on a shared network.

Didn’t find an answer? Message @ExpressHost_SupportBot.

Is Odoo Community free?

Yes, Community is distributed under LGPL-3.0. Some modules (for example, full accounting) are only available in the paid Enterprise edition.

How do I update?

Minor updates: docker pull odoo:20 and recreate the container. Moving to a new major version requires a database migration.

Where is the data stored?

Files are in the odoo-data volume, the database in the odoo-db volume. Database backups are easiest from the database manager: /web/database/manager.

Odoo installs at checkout — in the bot.
